Hotels

A block of rooms has been reserved at the discount rate of $120/night+tax at the Courtyard Marriot and $99/night+tax at the Hilton Garden Inn. Please request the UCF rate if you are making reservations with Courtyard Marriot and mention that you will be attending the "American Vacuum Society or AVS meeting'' when making reservations with the Hilton Garden Inn. Request the special rate to receive the discount rate. Rooms at the preferred rate are on a first come first serve basis, so please make your reservations before February 2008.

The Orlando International Airport is easily reached from most airports:

Driving to UCF from Orlando Airport:
Take the North Exit at the Airport to SR 528 East (Bee-Line Expressway).
Follow SR 528 East to SR 417 North (Toll).
Follow SR 417 North to University Blvd East.
Follow University Blvd East all the way to Alafaya Trail where it ends at UCF.
The Student Union is located at the center of the UCF campus (http://campusmap.ucf.edu/)
